I feel silly blogging about the oatmeal, but that was part of the deal, too. So here's what I got:
36 boxes of Quaker oatmeal
25 4packs of Dan Active Yogurt
Tho Oatmeal was 2/$4 but you save $2 when you buy 4, so the price before coupons was $1.50 a box, but I had $1 coupons, so for $18 I got 36 boxes of oatmeal.
The Dan Active 4packs were $2 and when you buy 5 you save $2 so before coupons, they were 5/$8 which breaks down to 1.60 per 4pack. THEN- I had $1 coupons, so each pack was only 60 cents so I spent $15 on 25 four packs of Dan Active Yogurt
Between all that oatmeal and yogurt, I should really make sure we have plenty of toilet paper and water, huh.
Speaking of water, Arrowhead 24packs are 3.99 at Safeway, but when you buy 4 you get a $5 catalina printout, so each case ends up costing $10.96, which breaks down to about 11 cents per bottle. Compared to grabbing a $2 bottle of water at the gas station, this is WAY smarter.
Skippy peanut butter and Ragu Spaghetti sauce at Walgreens are 1.99 and when you buy 8 you get a $10 catalina printout, so that means that it's only $5.92 for EIGHT jars of peanut butter or Ragu. but good luck if you live in Yakima because they never order much of their sale items, and they might give you a rain check but I doubt they'll restock by the time the promotion ends. I have some coupons for 40 cents off the peanut butter, but they're out. Maybe they'll restock later this week.
