got back $100 in store credit
getting back another $50 in Kelloggs rebates
so basically I get paid $25 taking this food from the store.

Update- I paid $2 to order the rebate forms, so instead, my profit is $23. minus the stamps:)

Glade Scented Oil Warmers and Refills at Walgreens

I ran four transactions, first one was two glad scented oil refills for 1.99 each, -$2 coupons=1.98 plus 8.2% tax=2.31 and I will get $2.20 in rebates, so the actual cost for each one was $0.055 (five and a half cents each)

second transaction was 4 glade plugin warmers, these were buy one for 4.79, get one free. I got 4 in this transaction, plus I used four $2 coupons, so it was 9.58-$8 plus sales tax .79 for a total of $2.37 and I will get $4 rebates, which means I profited on these

third transaction was the same as the second one

fourth transaction was for four of the refills, those were 1.99 each, I used four $1 coupons, so the price at the register (after tax) was 4.61. I will get $4.40 in rebates, so I paid 21 cents for four of them.

WooHoo.

I don't remember the specifics on this deal. I know the cleansers were 2.50 each and I had $1 coupons and there were $1 Easy Saver rebates. I got 6 of the Herberts bars which was stupid because it's only a 1 per person rebate, I should have just gotten 2 or 3 of them. The Dish soap was free. All together I remember this was $4 but I don't remember what the specifics were, sorry. And it's blurry. oops

OK the electrasol was 3.79 and I had -2.25 coupons, the cocoa puffs were 4.19, bogo and I had .75 cent q's I also had -$1 fresh express, and they were bogo, the folgers, I just needed coffee, the jones, just wanted it, had $2q, the nabisco had $1q's and 2 cans of progresso soup, don't remember the q value.

anyhow- because i had 25 items, I got $20 back, and my total came to $23 so I basically got all of this for $3

Gotta Love the Recycling Yard

I went to recycle cans today, my daughter collects them and next to me was a gentleman recycling a trunk full of newspapers from the retirement center. GENIUS- the old folks there all get the paper because they're old, they don't read news online. AND_ they're not using their coupons because getting to the store is a pain and they eat at the center anyways. SO- he was awesome, he let me go through them to pull the Q's. I offered him a popsicle and he didn't take it. 5 P&G Brandsavers, 10 Smart Sources and 3 Red Plums. The Smart Sources are from the Yakima Herald and they're different than the one I got from the Seattle PI. Interensting...

Office max-

OMG didn't realize office max pays $3 store credit for each dell, lexmark and HP cartridge you bring in to recycle. I sent like 75 of these to my daughter's dance school for a fundraiser and now we're moving before she takes her trip. they let you do up to 5 a day.

Albertsons 5-7-08

10 boxes general mills cereal
five -.75 coupons and two -2.00 coupons, means I paid 4.25 for 10 boxes of cereal, and $1 of that will go to CAPE for the boxtops for schools program.

I also got 10 bottles of tabasco sauce for a grand total of $2.50 because they were on sale for 10 for $10 and I had -.75 coupons.

Free cascade dishwashing rinse agent and free 18ct OB tampons, used free product coupons. Grand total for several other things, too was $30.33 and Before discounts is was 104.77

Walgreens 5-7-08

intended to use the three $5 zantac coupons I printed today to get $9RR but they were out of the 3.99 Zantac.

Instead, I spent my $20 RR on 2 pkgs of maxi pads, 1 kickers energy spray, 1 4pk light bulbs, one Oral B toothbrush and 1 bottle kids plaque revealing mouthwash.

All of those items were free after rebate, so now I am punching my Walgreens rebates into their website, so Walgreens can send me a check for $20ish. Remember, I only spent $9 and I got a ton of makeup and now all this other stuff, plus a $20 check. I got another $10RR and I spent it at Albertsons for 10 toothbrushes- remember?
