Setting Up a Coupon Organizer to organize Grocery Coupons

Organized Coupons make it easier to balance your budget, because if you stock up on nonperishable grocery items and toiletries at discount rates, you spend less in the long run. Manufacturer's coupons can be combined with store coupons and sale prices for even bigger savings and sometimes free products.

How to Organize Coupons

After all that clipping and sorting, don't just stick your coupons in an envelope. Sort coupons into categories that mirror the order of the aisles at the grocery store you frequent most often. With the coupons in order, it's easier to skim as you shop.

Grocery Store Coupon Categories

It's smart to organize coupons into the same sections as your grocery store aisles. Personal care and medicines are often in the same aisle. Consider dividing your coupon holder into cleaning and household supplies, meat and dairy products, sauces and condiments, pasta and rice, canned goods, beverages, baking staples, cereals and coffee, baby items, paper goods, frozen foods, bread ad of course desserts and snacks.

Make sure that the sections you use most often are specific enough that they don't end up too full. Families who are picky about all natural body products will likely not be saving all the toiletry product coupons that come their way. Further, a family who eats whole foods won't be purchasing processed foods.
